I stayed here for 2 nights, the hotel was high-class, with good and incredible location near the subway station as well as Madrid in 2020. The breakfast was extensive and plentiful and well presented with even churros, ham, chocolate. The vibe here was quiet.
The staff were very rude, didn't expect that coming.

Everything is perfect! I've come for the second time for work. Alejandro's attention at the reception is one of the best in the hotel, which welcomes you with great sweetness and sympathy even though it's 1.00 am. I was already in this hotel almost a year ago and I was the same receptionist. It was his sympathy that made me remember him. The room 303 is outside, wide and very comfortable, with a big bed, wide bathroom and you have an iron. The breakfast is very complete and of quality. Possibility of late check out until 16 h without extra charge! There are rooms for very comfortable business meetings and you can order a menu by booking in the meeting. The snack we were given in the La Petite room was very good. A 10! I will repeat soon.
The only thing is that I would prefer a shower tray because the tub is tall and somewhat dangerous because you can slip but it has a handle so you can hold on and get in and out more safely.

Location, spaciousness of the premium room, details in the room of the free water and exquisite chocolates as a gift, very good breakfast, above all the friendliness of the staff. One of the best check-ins I have ever received!! performed by Alejandro at the reception when I arrived. nice, without leaving any information! I'm used to travel very often and I noticed the difference. Thank you Alejandro. There should be many Alejandros in the hotels, with your sympathy and good work. Victor, responsible for the breakfast, was the other worker who treated us with great professionalism and kindness. Thank you both for making our stay so much more pleasant.
bed is a little hard and pillows are too high and hard. water would get hot or cold without moving it. At breakfast there were no free tables on Saturday. bit of a fuss to be able to sit down. hotel was full.

The treatment of the reception staff.
Being a four-star hotel, quality and price tag leaves a lot to be desired. rooms were old, renovated but not luxurious. noisy the corridor in the opening and closing of the doors of other rooms rumbled the door. Curiously, in the mirror of the wardrobe there was a welcome phrase written with marker {I guess from the previous traveller} a detail that I sincerely did not like for a 4* hotel. staff was super nice and attention was fantastic. anecdotally the breakfast room manager caught the attention of both my little boy and me, struggling with the customers to push the wrong buttons on the coffee machine and whether they had more or less food on the table. I noticed that he was going for detective. I checked the customers to see if they had a bag or backpack and if they made themselves a little snack or took a piece of fruit and put it away. We personally filled our water bottles with the consent of a waitress and she came to call my attention without knowing that her partner had given me permission. To top off our stay, on Sunday morning we were woken up by the knocks coming from the next room and when we went out into the corridor to call attention, our surprise was to see that the noises were made by the cleaning staff, arranging the room. great awakening for a 4* hotel.

Very friendly staff. and very clean. The family room spacious enough We stayed 5 nights with our children 7 and 9. Very close to everything: Museums, metro, plazas and Atocha station. Also there is close to panaderias and cafes for breakfast.
We would prefer to have a bit of natural light from our windows but I guess all the family rooms are at the back of the hotels.

nice old hotel, not luxury, not cheap, not too far from anywhere
no wifi; for a hotel that caters to business groups it's not really up to standard.
